It sounds like Peltors would work better for you. Honestly, either is a good choice and will work well. Right now I have been using the Peltors, but I switch back and forth. The other issue is (and maybe it's just me) the marks are not attached as well as the Peltors and can come loose and start to shift in the Arc rail. The tension also makes it a little tougher when putting on the helmet or taking it off, but that's not a big deal. I haven't had issues with tension, but I don't rotate them back. I don't recommend rotating them back because the pressure on the gel cups tends to wear them down faster. The downfall to not being able to pop them out is that to give your ears a break you have to rotate them back or take the helmet off. Not being able to pop them out prevents them from coming off your ear during use (no loud noise if hunting). The MARK adapters are nice and compact so if you want to attach anything else to the rail there is a lot of room. Another thing is they lock into the rail solid and will not slide during use. It also allows you to rotate them back and out of the way. The positives are that you can pop them out for airflow and it makes getting the helmet on/off easier. Also, the "pop" to lock them in or out is pretty loud so be careful if hunting with them. The Peltors take up more space on the rail and could pop out during use. I have both and have gone back and forth on which one I like more.
